After six months of work, I have finally completed my new personal site.

Features:
- Fairly comprehensive About Me and My Interests sections.
- A much expanded, much improved My Creations section (compared to my old personal site).
- A fairly active forum.
- Even a blog! Heh.

What's up?

Another one of my long, all-encompassing posts:

Man, school is getting tougher and tougher. First there was the Stats project, which used up my whole weekend (I was planning going to a guitar store :-( ) Now it turns out that I was quite behind in Euro, and had to turn my Euro notebook in at the very end of 7th period, after much frenzied writing. And then we have to act out Julius Caesar next week... >.<

Halloween was kinda sorta fun. I didn't trick or treat of course (at my age, it's now technically begging), but I played Xbox with Sol which was pretty fun. Fortunately, my brother and sister got enough loot for all of us ^_^

Still no idea when I'm getting a guitar...

Today is my dad's birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD! =)

My year-long hiatus from Wikipedia is now over. You can see my profile here.

I'm removing the Quote of the Week sidebar box (because I keep forgetting to update it), but I added a subscription service. Now you can recieve email alerts whenever I update my blog! =)

And finally, Neverwinter Nights 2 has finally been released!! However, reviews seem to be pretty bad. I'll give this one a few days for more people to post reviews before I reach any verdict.

And I'll try to post more often, I really will... ;)

Yes, the Guys at MEEBO have outdone themselves.... yet again!

Everyone knows about meebo, right? meebo is an excellent online client that lets you chat with your AIM, MSNM, YIM, ICQ, Jabber, and GTalk friends all at once, and I strongly urge everyone to try it.

But wait, there's more! meebo has recently (just today) started a new service, called meebome. You can see the result on my blog sidebar (scroll down a bit). With a meebo account, you can put these little chat boxes on any of your pages, and visitors can chat with you - no IM software needed! Truly amazing.

Try it! In the "Chat With Me" box, you can chat with me, change your display name, and turn sound off and on. More features coming soon... =)

Why Blogger?

Why did I pick Blogger over other blogging systems?

The answer is simple: Blogger gives you much more control over your blog than other systems. Although Blogger is lacking some features such as a shoutbox and post categories, it is possible to add them:

CBox - a fully-functional shoutbox
Blogger Categories - Just a few lines of JavaScript let you categorize your posts!

I am new to Blogger, but I am sure that there are a ton of Blogger mods out there, and their development is made possible due to Blogger's style editing feature, which lets you add just about anything to your blog!

Blogging + Modding = Blog Mod!

I had a bit of free time today, so I decided to add a link to this blog to PodDonkey. Then I thought, "No, I can do better," and so decided to add a new feature for PodDonkey forum users: a link to their blog in their profile. Easy, right?

Two hours later: Nothing works. I go through every file, find a handful of errors, upload again. Still nothing.

One hour after that: Finally figured out the problem: I copied and pasted a chunk of code between four files, thinking that it will work in all four files. However, closer inspection revealed that the four files all have different names for the same function: $row[], $privmsg[], $profiledata[], and $postrow[], and simple copy-and-pasting just won't cut it. I fixed the code, uploaded, and it works like a charm!

<-- The circled button, of course, links to this blog. Although I have installed many forum mods in the past, this is the first mod that I coded from scratch. Who knows - if public response is positive, maybe I'll try to submit it to the phpBB database!
